Paul, or ‘Cogs’ as the industry calls him, won a grade 6 creative writing prize, got to meet Paul Jennings and, really, hasn’t looked back from there. After a decorated career helming creative departments of big advertising agencies, creating award-winning work for brands big and small, he is thoroughly enjoying building the Moonsail empire with Matt. When he’s not creating stand-out brand and advertising work you’ll find him cooking up a storm for his family or ripping around on his road bike at some un-godly hour.

UN Youth World Forum speaking guy. Global Head of Art on Dove guy. Matt is an all-round talent. In his formative years he expressed his creativity any way he could, through photography, music, then design, art direction, then taught young ones to do the same. In a similar journey to Paul, Matt has worked in big agencies in London, been the Global Art Lead on big brands like Dove and has now brought this world-class talent to start Moonsail with Paul. Under Matt’s leadership, you know everything will look brilliant.

what's with
the name?
The Moonsail (also known as a Moonraker, Hope-in-Heaven, or Hopesail) was an innovation introduced in the 1850s to help trade ships move faster between continents.
The word ‘Moon’ is used as the sail is affixed at the very highest point of the ship’s mast, and helps the ship succeed in global ventures even in the lightest of winds.
This simple yet effective change to shipping helped spark the early stages of the global business trade revolution as we know it today.
This underlying principle of helping globally minded business realise their success is the backbone of who we are.
