ADVERTISING - DIGITAL / SOCIAL / OOH / BVOD / PLANES

THE CHALLENGE

Australian ISP Pentanet has developed a world-first community-based mesh technology for high-speed internet, known as 'Nexus'. The more people that use this service, the more it feeds the network, the faster and more reliable the connection becomes. It was our job to band the people of Perth together and get them excited about this technology, with an initial target of 5000 EOIs within 2 weeks. 

Playing into the online gaming origins of Pentanet, we created a comical pseudo military-style recruitment campaign to combat sub-par internet across Perth - "Operation Nexus".

What is a military recruitment drive without a drill Sergeant? We enlisted Perth-based funny man, TikTok sensation and self-professed Pentanet mega-fan @SevPics to front the campaign and encourage Perth-folk to join Operation Nexus.
